Provenance: The recipient, J. Eastman Hatch, was a prominent LDS book collector of Cache Valley, Utah, known to have assembled a significant collection of Mormon Americana including a first edition Book of Mormon. His wife, to whom this copy is co-inscribed, passed away in 1947.
