Title page engraving signed Anderson — attributed to Alexander Anderson (1775–1870) per Internet Archive catalog record — followed by standard title page dated 1818.
Condition
Binding original and complete; both boards sound and attached, hinges showing exterior cracking but joints firm. Corners and leather worn and darkened throughout. Lacking both front free endpapers; both rear endpapers present. Text block sound. Foxing throughout; one dog-eared leaf noted. Previous owner's pencil signature to front. Good.
